Chris Moon www.chrismoon.co.uk is a patron of Help For Heroes www.helpforheroes.org.uk and Childrens Chance www.childrenschance.co.uk . He was born in Coombe Bissett, a village just outside our home City of Salisbury and attended the local Bishop Wordsworth's School.

He was kidnapped by the Khmer Rouge and he later lost a leg and arm while de-mining in Mozambique. In less than a year of his accident he ran the London Marathon.

He has appeared on the Parkinson Show and is now a motivational speaker, sometimes with corporate audiences of up to 5000.

It is a priviledge to welcome Chris back to his hometown. His illustrated talk will be moving, humourous and inspirational.

Tickets are limited and on sale at the Cross Keys Bookshop in the Cross Keys Chequers, Salisbury at £9.50 each or £8.00 each if purchased before the end of February. Proceeds will go to Childrens Chance and Help For Heroes.
