Off to a flying start
Well we’ve got off to a flyer this year by attending 3 major exhibitions and all provided record breaking figures:
BSAVA Congress Birmingham
Dentistry Show Birmingham
Both shows were well attended but more importantly they each generated more leads than ever before.
Optrafair Birmingham
Maybe it’s something to do with Birmingham because this was easily the most successful show we have ever attended.
We had a massive 75% increase in leads taken at Optrafair and had to draft in more staff to cope! Who’d have thought finance could be so popular??? I’m also sure our SpecsCare launch had something to do with our popularity!
If you visited us at any of these events then thanks for coming along, we really do value our clients and hope you feel the same about us.

Bright Advice acquires Performance Insurance
Our Insurance Division has grown so quickly in the last 3 years that it caught the eye of a few suitors and after some negotiation we agreed that Bright Advice would aquire Performance Insurance.
Bright is an established Independent Financial Advice practice. They are the largest provider of financial services within the Personal Touch network of over 1,000 firms of which Performance Insurance has been a part.
This is excellent news for our client base as it allows them to tap into a much larger knowledge base which not only covers Protection but also Pensions, Investments, Wills, Trusts and Mortgages.
Performance Finance remains unchanged and this simply provides a greater number of complimentary services to our portfolio.
For example; the new Pension reforms coming into play over the next couple of years will by law make all practices provide pensions for its staff regardless of size or structure.
|
Bright idea!
Be ahead of the game! Give us a call to speak to a pension specialist who can give you the low-down on the new reforms and how to feather them into your business rather than rushing into something at the last minute and possibly being hit harder than expected.

Reduction in the Annual Investment Allowance
You may well be aware that the Annual Investment Allowance is an excellent tax break that provides immediate tax relief upto £100,000 of capital expenditure.
However did you know that the AIA is being reduced to £25,000 from 2012.
It’s early days yet but if you have any capital investment plans coming up it’s worth noting and therefore structuring your investment programme early may be beneficial.

Congratulations to William & Catherine
With the Royal Wedding only a few days ago it only seems right to wish the happy couple all the very best for the future.
The wedding itself was a gloriously positive example of what this country is capable of and I hope made you all feel proud to be British.
We look forward to contacting you again for our Quarter 3 Newsletter.
